The Beginning of Dialogue

Today I was privileged to be a part of the genesis of an interfaith forum to move forward the dialogue between faiths in Edo State. Present were the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Dr. Felix Omobude), the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Edo State, the Anglican and Catholic bishops, the Chief Imam of the State, the Otaru of Auchi and several other Muslim leaders in the City and State.

The forum will take off fully in a few weeks, and one of my #EpicGoals for 2017 is to organize a similar forum on a national level using the platforms of the #ThinkersNest and Benson Idahosa University  (@biu_nigeria) to address national security and interfaith matters for our great nation of Nigeria. It is time for the church to begin to #takethelead again and speak to our country to make it what we want it to be.

We need to be known more for what we stand FOR than what we stand AGAINST.
